Jenna Fischer is a talented US actress born ‘Regina Marie Fischer’ on March 7th 1974 in Ft Wayne Indiana. She is currently best known for her role as Pam Beesly in the hit US comedy series ‘The Office’ but has also had several other notable roles in the film and TV industry as her popularity has began to grow.
Jenna has received a Bachelor of Arts certificate in Theatre from ‘Truman State University’ and began her acting career with guest roles on hit TV series such as ‘Six Feet Under’ in which she played Sharon Kinney, ‘That 70’s Show’ alongside Ashton Kutcher, ‘Miss Match’, ‘Undeclared’ and ‘Spin City’.
After proving herself as an extremely talented actress in these roles she gradually made her way onto the big screen and has starred in a variety of movies including ‘Employee of the month’ ‘Slither’ ‘Lucky 13’ and most recently she starred alongside Will Ferrell and Jon Heder as ‘Katie’ in the blockbuster comedy ‘Blades of Glory’ about two men teaming up to skate together in a figure skating championship with hilarious results.
Jenna has also written, directed and starred in her own mockumentary low budget film called ‘Lollilove’ for which she won a highly regarded Screen Actors Guild Emerging Actor Award.
Jenna Fischer is married to Hollywood screenwriter James Gunn whom she met at a script reading for one of his movies ‘The Specials’. She has one younger sister called Emily, who like their Mother is an elementary school teacher and the family are very close.
Jenna is a keen supporter of many charities and recently won $5,000 for Catholic Charities in Bravo’s Celebrity Poker Showdown.
